Before you call
How much does a paver patio cost in Naperville or Aurora?
Most patios we build land between $12,000 and $22,000 for 300–500 square feet, installed on a full compacted base. Price moves with the stone you pick, how much excavation the site needs, and whether there's a grade or drainage problem to solve first. We'll give you a fixed number in writing before anything starts.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — general liability and workers' comp, and we'll send you the certificates before we start. Ask any contractor for these. The ones who hesitate are the ones to worry about.
How long will my project take?
A cleanup or a mulch job is a day. Drainage work is usually two to five days. A patio runs one to three weeks depending on size and excavation. You get a schedule with the estimate, and a call if weather moves it.
Do you handle drainage, or just landscaping?
Both, and we'd rather do the drainage first. A lot of what gets called a landscaping problem around here — dead patches every May, a soggy corner, water in the basement — is really a grading problem. We shoot elevations before we quote so we're fixing the cause.
When should I book for spring?
Earlier than feels necessary. Our spring build calendar generally fills through winter, and design work done in the off-season means your crew starts as soon as the ground opens up. Fall is the best time to book a spring project.
Do you maintain what you build?
Yes. Most people who have us build something put the property on a weekly maintenance route afterward. Same crew, same day each week — a build only stays looking new if somebody keeps up with it.
Do you haul away what you tear out?
Yes, and it's priced into the job — no surprise line item, and no dumpster sitting on your driveway for a week. We take brush, old sod, torn-out concrete and pavers, storm debris and excavation spoils. In winter it's the same trucks hauling snow off site once the banks are full. We'll also do haul-only work if you've already done the tearing out yourself.
Do you plow snow?
No. We’re a design-build and maintenance company, and we’d rather tell you that than take a seasonal contract and sub it out to whoever answers the phone at 4am. If you need a plow, ask us — we’ll give you the names of outfits in Aurora and Naperville we’d use on our own driveways. What we do run all winter is cleanups, dormant pruning, hauling, and the design work for spring.
Why book a spring project in January?
Because the spring calendar fills over the winter, and design takes weeks before anyone breaks ground. Book in the off-season and the survey, the plan and the permits are done while it’s frozen — so your crew starts the day the frost is out instead of joining a queue in May.
